Bet you never thought of leaving a gate open again. :-(Margie Churchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04487640135615243906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090034241516458003.post-64668242743180407152012-06-29T20:34:22.355-05:002012-06-29T20:34:22.355-05:00Those were the good days, Zee. Right after that the dog was hit when someone left the gate open.
debby236 at gmail dot comDebbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08516477616699255278noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090034241516458003.post-33156471722381107392012-06-29T10:03:53.941-05:002012-06-29T10:03:53.941-05:00Margie, that's how I remember my childhood too...Margie, that's how I remember my childhood too, which wasn't that long ago, lol! We went out at 9, and our mothers only got worried if we weren't back by 6. Lunch happened at whatever house we happened to be, the whole day spent in the sun. *sigh* the good ol' times... :)Zee Monodeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03709226882459365836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090034241516458003.post-27203022804077176242012-06-29T08:21:12.825-05:002012-06-29T08:21:12.825-05:00LOL Zee! Today, we are definitely busy with our kids in the summer on top of our jobs and other responsibilities. I start organizing summer stuff in April - otherwise I have no hair left by mid-June. Put a little self-tanner on those arms. Thanks for visiting!Margie Churchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04487640135615243906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090034241516458003.post-25718942842191203522012-06-29T02:47:02.871-05:002012-06-29T02:47:02.871-05:00Man, I'd go nuts after one such summer! Glad to have our 4.30AM-7PM sun in December (yeah, I'm from the other side of the world...).

We're lucky our temps rarely go over 100 deg where I live, but even that's a pain sometimes. My summer nightmare is all those activities you have to funnel the kids to. Jujitsu, soccer, gym, play dates, whatever other thing they've enlisted for. End up nearly all day in my car, with no UV-protecting glass in the windows and you come home to find your hands are one tanned colour and then where your sleeve starts, you're white as cream. Gloves in summer - wouldn't that be hell? :)Zee Monodeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03709226882459365836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090034241516458003.post-51990999985036472652012-06-28T18:05:35.796-05:002012-06-28T18:05:35.796-05:00Ketchup on saltines! LOL

I hope you'll be safe from the fires, Katie. Colorado is a beautiful state. What takes you there?Margie Churchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04487640135615243906noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090034241516458003.post-72910932776173660132012-06-28T16:32:15.845-05:002012-06-28T16:32:15.845-05:00Oy I feel your pain. My brother compound fractured his arm on the trampoline.

I hate summer too. At this very moment I am moving from Las Vegas to Colorado. I HATE the heat! I don't leave the house most of the summer. When it reaches 110+ I won't even go to the store. Dinner is whatever is on hand, even if that's ketchup on saltines.Katie Harperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04682937245854100385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2090034241516458003.post-68111273220974562962012-06-28T14:42:38.580-05:002012-06-28T14:42:38.580-05:00Thanks for having me. The more comfortable the kids get with it, the more relaxed they get about the safety rules and the more arguing there is about what they can do and how YOU ARE A SPAZ. Good luck. I hope everyone has a bouncing-good time!Margie Churchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04487640135615243906noreply@blogger.com
