I know it's already been mentioned but the comparison between building a story and building a quilt pattern is really intriguing. I'm impressed by your organization and can easily see how the details you work into all your writing DO build onto each other (and fit together) in the same way a quilt pattern grows. Each piece both adds to and depends on the other pieces it touches in order for the story to be complete. Very nice.
