  2. Hi Kerri!

I'm really excited about this challenge. I'm participating in this and in CampNaNoWriMo, so between the two my writing will be supercharged!

Today's Book Note: The takeaway from my reading of the third book in Mark Hodder's steampunk Burton/Swinburne series is that if you don't wind up your clockwork man, he is useless in a firefight.

    Thanks!
    Sincerely,
    Aidee

  23. What am I writing?
    Book: Copies, Cutz and Such
    Today's Word Count: 910 words
I don't always write chronologically, I jump around and 'fill in'. The scenes I worked on are in the set up. I write long-hand.

    What I'm reading?
Bone by Bone written by Carol O'Connell.
    Read: 150 pages
Oren has come home 20 years after his father sent him away at 17. Oren believes he sent him away because he believed Oren was responsible for his brother's disappearance. On the night Oren returns, his brother's jaw is delivered to the front porch in the dead of night. Josh has been coming home, bone by bone.
Oren is a retired criminal investigator for the military, and now he is trying to find out who murdered his brother and why.
Where I left off? Oren has found an envelope of photos his brother took before he disappeared.
    Progress notes from Cinette:
I was on a 12-hour road trip in a semi, so what writing I was able to do is not all that legible (note: semi's do not provide a smooth ride). Thank goodness I brought a large print book. Both practices do make for a headache, I'm afraid. And hubby was a little cranky about me spending the trip writing and reading. Or maybe that was because I accidentally dropped a shovel of wood chips and manure on his head from the top deck when I was helping him clean out the livestock trailer;-)
