In celebration of my birthday, the blog is closed today.
But I'll be back tomorrow and until then...what's my fave birthday themed movie of all time? I think I may be giving away my age here (no I'm not 16--I wish!) but I watched this as a pre-teen so many times I wore out the VCR (my kids look at my VHS tapes like they are alien devices):

Yeah, I'm totally with you on that. What a great movie!
ReplyDelete@Christine~
ReplyDeleteHubby won't let me discard them. I've bought a few of the classics on DVD over the years but there are just too many on VHS. I gave up.
Thanks for the well wishes. xo
@J.A.~I knew we were kinda like twins separated at birth. ;-)

Happy Birthday, Kerri. I hope your day is filled with happiness and your are surrounded by people who love you!
ReplyDeleteoops wrong you're. LOL
ReplyDeleteI loved, loved, loved Sixteen Candles. I just found it on DVD pack with Pretty In Pink and Weird Science. It is in a Old Style Trapper Keeper as its case. There is also a CD in it with all the best songs from all 3 movies. I found it at Menards (of all places to find movies). When I listen to the CD, my kids are like " What are you listening to mommy. These songs are weird."
ReplyDelete13 Going to 30 is another birthday movies.

Yep, Sixteen Candles, that was my first thought.
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday, Kerri.
Oh and we still have VHS also. The player sits right on top of the DVD player.
@Pat~
ReplyDeleteThanks much. Glad to know I'm not the only one who has a VCR still (we rarely use it but it is still here). Of course, we also have several DVD players and a ROKU. So we are stoneage to spaceage. :-)
Hugs,
K.
