Author Interview: Lynn Crain

Today, the Book Boost is proud to welcome one of our Featured Authors...Lynn Crain!

Be sure to read below all about Lynn & her newest upcoming book. Then answer her trivia question for a chance to win a copy for yourself!

TBB: Lynn, welcome and tell us...where are you from?

LC: I was born in a small Ohio town called West Union. When I was eleven my family decided to move to the Las Vegas, Nevada area. I’ve been here ever since but I really want to spend my summers in Scotland as the desert is way too hot for me anymore.

TBB:
What are you reading now?

LC:
I am reading a lot right now. I just finished judging some contests. I am reading the non-fiction books of The Tao of Writing, The Art of Happiness, Caesar’s Way and in fiction, Kismet. If I’m not writing, I’m reading something.

TBB: When and why did you begin writing?

LC:
I began writing when I was eleven right after I moved to Nevada. I loved to read and once I had devoured The Flame and the Flower by Kathleen Woodiweiss I knew I had found my calling.

TBB: Do you have any advice for other writers?

LC: Never give up no matter what anyone tells you. One of the first contests I entered, I received a horrible, horrible judging sheet back where the person was really scathing. It took me a while all of about two seconds to realize I wanted to prove this person wrong. And I’ve been doing it ever since.

TBB: Thanks for joining us and telling us a little bit about yourself. Will you share a blurb about your new book with us?

LC:

Merrick never expected to be part of his brother, Iain’s wild sexual games. Once it is over, he realizes he wants to find what Iain has found…his soul mate. When he meets Jenna, he’s afraid she is the one. But she certainly isn’t what he expected. She’s a hunter or so he thinks. But how can someone so innocent belong to a group as cold as the Hunters?

Jenna cannot believe her eyes when she sees Merrick…talk, dark and brooding…and everything she’s ever wanted in a man. There’s just one problem. He’s an immortal and her family hunts immortals. But he holds the key to her deepest, darkest fantasies. And the more she’s with him, the more she realizes her father has deceived her.
But is she ready to give up everything she knows for an uncertain future?

TBB: Wow, that sounds great! I hear you want to offer up a copy to one lucky participant.

LC:
I will give one person a copy of this book when it is released to the one commenter who can name all my published titles.

TBB: All right, you heard it here. The first person to correctly name all of Lynn's published titles correctly wins a copy of Merrick and Jenna! So get busy, folks!

TBB: Lynn, did you have any closing comments for our readers?

LC: I want to thank all my readers for being patient with me the end of last year into next. I am about to become the grandmother of twin boys and even though they aren’t born yet, they have been taking all my time. They are due to arrive sometime in early March, so I’ll keep everyone posted.

I am writing a variety of books this year and hope that you will love what I’ll be doing. My first of the year will be a paranormal shifter followed by a few contemporaries, futuristics and some fantasy.

I would love to hear from you all! Please visit my website at www.lynncrain.com

TBB: Thanks for joining us here at the Book Boost Blog and be sure to keep us posted on the arrival of the twins!

This was quite interesting Lynn and thanks for sharing with all of us. I am late to reply as I just got home from work and playing catch up on all I missed earlier today. susan L.
