Kerri's Progress Notes:
Just got caught up on comments to each of you from Day #8 and Day #9 and I've posted my Day #9 totals which are embarrassingly low (only one short writing burst completed).
But on the flip side, I did clean out a huge closet from top to bottom that I've been meaning to do for some time. The result? I donated 500 items of baby/kid clothing and a bunch of toys and stuff and stuff and more stuff to charity. It felt really good to donate all that stuff and now my walk-in closet is actually walk-in-able! How cool is that? And I organized all my seasonal stuff (Halloween, Christmas, Easter) in the closet and it is so neat. I feel like one of those organizational experts from HGtv or something.
Today, I will be writing and editing and so on and so forth and having a computer-filled productive day. Meanwhile, my closet is so happy!
Hope all of you are having a fantastic Hump Day!

Good Wednesday;
I thought I'd drop by earlier in the day, just to see what happens in the morning.
It looks quiet over here.
I am learning html and css through Lynda.com and getting a batch of 18 authors ready for their release day on 1 May over at Eternal Press.
I just thought I'd drop by and leave a less hurried note that doesn't include my word count and reading progress.
I will be back later with the rushed reply.
How are all of doing?
Sally
(Hi Sally! :))
Regarding the count:
Didn't check in yesterday, wrote a little over 1K, didn't read (in my defense, I have to say it was my birthday, and I got other good news to take care of.)
Today: What I'm writing: Spring Eternal, 1010 words.
What I'm reading: Marcia Muller, The Dangerous Hour. Did 4 chapters to make up for yesterday.
Book note: Takes place in San Francisco, which reminds me of the Women's Murder Club. That's always a good thing!
Sorry for missing yesterday. I had my first sinus infection and with the drugs and pain, I couldn't focus enough to writ or read.
Today I felt better and try but the words didn't want to ome out. It was like starting over again.
Writing
Book - Starlight Treasures
Words - 283 I did finish the chapter so progress.
Reading
Book - Devil's Bride by Stephanie Laurens

Book -
What I'm writing?
Book: Rappacini Veiled
Today's total word count: 1101
Progress Notes: I'm also signed up this month at 750words which has monthly challenges to write only 750 words a day but it makes you sign a pledge. If I manage to make it every day this month I get a sleep-in weekend. If I fail, I have to donate a dollar to charity for every day I miss.
What I'm reading?
Book: Two Silent Cries by TN Tarrant
1K Completed: Yes!
Book Note: I have never seen someone have panic attacks this severe. Yikes!
10,036 words completed. I am still in the running. When I get really stuck, I resort to back story or go through a character's closet.
Still reading the same book. I'll drop in, tomorrow.
My book or whatever it is is still untitled. But, I have a tortoise who is still un-named.
Sally
((Hey Sally, I'm pretty good. Had a little tiff with my dad and hid in my room while he and my mother discussed how he could have handled it differently... "They aren't boys, Jay!" Then my sister and I laughed behinds closed door because he looked like a little boy who got in trouble at church... really, he is short.))
As for my word count:
WIP: Untitled
Today's Total Word Count: 1,000 (roughly)
Total Word Count: 25,000 (again, roughly.)
What am I reading? Nothing... I still haven't picked up my book. Hopefully I will have better luck tomorrow. For now, I am going to sip on some hot tea and rub my feet across her fur like I'm at the spa... they say I am abusive. We both like the spa.
-Jordan
I really should check my post before I send them... I'm going to rub my feet across my dog's fur. Not my sisters... or my moms. I don't want to get slapped or wake up with a gang sign written on my forehead with a sharpie. Kennedy has a collection... don't ask.
-Jordan

Today's total word count: 200
Book: New book That Scandalous Summer by Meredith Duran

This was a really busy workday for me, and my evening was spent helping the twins with a Girl Scouts project and catching up on work. Ugh. Hopefully, I’ll do better today. Still, I was able to get some words in, so I really can’t beat myself up.

Zero words yesterday. I lost the cap the dentist put on the day before and their office was closed. Rolled around with a toothache ALL DAY LONG. They're going to put it back on today at 11:00. Thank God!!
I'm going to make up for my 0 word count today and do double the words if it kills me.

@Sally~
Yep, quiet in the morning. I don't check in until the following morning. Yay to the 18 author releases. Always exciting stuff. Hugs to Sally from a fellow EP author and your word counts are amazing! Give the tortoise a pat for me.
@Barbara!
Happy belated birthday!!! Yay to your progress!
@Beth~
Feel better soon and keep up the progress. Little by little will get you there, my friend.
@Aidee~
Oooh, I like the $1 a day to charity idea. Hmmm.... Once I had a panic attack about having a panic attack! ;-)
@Jordan~
Being a teen is tough. You're doing a great job at it. Stay positive and remember...this too shall pass. I promise. P.S. I imagined a fur rug. LOL
@Cynthia~
Hang in there. You are still keeping your head above water and that's all that counts. Hugs!
@Lynnette~
No beating up of oneself. You are doing superb. Tread water, swim, sprint, or even float...any and all will get you there. See you at the finish line either way.
@Teresa~
Dang teeth. With all the modern technology in medicine these days it seems like they could make a glue good enough...ya know? Geez. Double hugs.
I'm going to close the comments for Day #10.
