Where did everyone go?

I just finished up for the evening.

I have 12,059 words. I am keeping up.

The MC sent the stalker home with his tail between his legs. He is actually quite humiliated and paranoid. He practically slept with his lights on.

The MC feels rather smug about the whole encounter but she still double locks her bedroom door.

Still reading the same book.

Happy Week-end to all of you and don't touch anything sharp.

Well, today was a bust. I had to chaperone a field trip for my youngest and it involved a lot of walking (it was a Nature Center trip).

I came home and practically passed out. Major setback with the sinus infection/chest cold. Bleh.

0 writing and 0 reading.

So glad this week is over and I can forget about it and start fresh tomorrow morning.

Day 12:
What I'm writing?
Today's total word count: 1,132

What I'm reading?
Chapters Completed: only a couple of pages

Another great writing day for me. I have to admit, this was a little scary. I’m a plotter, but I reached a point where something had to be added because of changes I’d made earlier, and I hadn’t plotted this out, other than how everything would end. It’s interesting to see how the other side works, but I definitely know I prefer plotting. There’s simply too much to keep track of when writing romantic suspense.

@Sally~

I've been in between the sofa, the laundry room, and the bathroom with another sick kid. Why oh why? You are totally keeping up with the challenge and I'm behind on my comments but don't think that I'm not watching you all. Faboo!

@Beth~

Loved field trips as a kid. Hat field trips as an adult. Go figure. Hope your fresh start is sweet and I'm shopping on your store right now. Bad temptation.

@Aidee~

Very impressive work. You're staying motivated and positive. Love it!

@Teresa~

Well done on the word count and how's the new book?

@Cynthia~

Oh, well how about taking a break from your WIP and writing a poem? Any interest in that? I did that last year for an Edgar Allen Poe charity anthology and it was great writing in a genre I don't normally write.

@Lynnette~

If plotting works for you--no need to change it. The freewriting can be a block buster for you only when you need a change. Keep what works for you.
