Kerri's Progress Notes:

Sorry that I've been behind on updating the blog posts and replying to comments but I'm up to date now.  Please go back and check the comments.  I may have left some gold there. ;-)

Seriously, Beth...I had a question for you on jewelry.

Be sure to check my notes from the weekend and see how much joy I've been in as I hobble around and try to dodge stomach virus #2.  Boo hoo for me.  This month has turned out to be a humdinger.

Back to editing today and hope to get in my words.  Fingers crossed or uncrossed as typing with crossed fingers may not be productive.

Hugs to my peeps!

What I'm writing?

Book: The Cabinet of the Dead

Here I am. What a distracting day. I have 15, 121 words, tonight.

I am still reading the same book and some of the characters are growing, changing and some are predictable. But who knows, things change from one chapter to the next.

Well today turned crappy. Hubby had to go into work early so no reading time this morning. Then the oldest decided to meltdown on homeschooling and finally tonight my Mac decided to freeze and lose all the work I did tonight. (It rest the system to 3:03pm today.)

So zero writing and zero reading. Frustrating day.

Making progress again. The word count isn't as high because I did some edits of the first pages of this WIP for a contest, did some plotting of two scenes and did some assignments for some writing classes.

Book: The Dark. Lady
2 Chapters Completed: No, but I read more than two chapters yesterday.
Today's Book Note: Safe for the moment.

What I'm reading?
Chapters Completed: ch. 17

Nice one, Old Man Winter. We had a blizzard overnight, so school was delayed two hours this morning. Don’t get me wrong. I love my kids, but snow days make them super hyper, which makes it hard for me to get any work done. At least I managed to get a few pages in.

@Aidee~

Boom Chica Wow Wow! You are keeping up great progress. Proud of you! And Mystery is my middle name. Well...not really...but...

@Barbara~

Prayers have gone out and staying focused can be tough. Seems like it never ends, doesn't it? Good for you for getting that writing done early.

@Sally~

Distractions Distractions...I know thee. Keep your chin up.

@Beth~

Are you homeschooling? I was thinking about doing this for my oldest next year but she had a meltdown at the mention of it. I'm going to probably send her own because I have two others at home. Don't need the drama. Oh, and I'm definitely ordering the pendant. Stay tuned on that, sista.

@Cynthia~

Love the word count! Woot! Keep it up chica!

@Lynnette~

Had a similar situation last week when they released school two hours early for a tornado that was supposed to hit. Luckily no tornado showed up. But I had all 3 kids home with hypermania while I tried to get work done. I know of what ye speaketh. Your challenge stats are amazing, though!
