Kerri's Progress Notes:

Sunday Sunday!  Here we are...entering out last full week of the challenge.  Only 9 more days to go.  Can you believe we are now in the last third of the challenge?

It has been a weird month for me on all accounts.  But I'm here and determined to see it through.  I'm even working on Sunday.  I probably shouldn't be.  But here I am.

Hugs to all who have stuck with it.  :-)

What I'm reading: Finished Three To Get Deadly (Janet Evanovich), started Out of the Shadow by J.S. Winn, an ebook. What's interesting about this one is that it deals with hypnotherapy and repressed trauma. 2 chapters each.

What I'm writing: Did all my words in the past days on the vampire story, today 2100something.

All caught up.

Hi Kerri!

I'm waving back from a few miles up the road. I'm thinking of going to the Heart of Dixie Luncheon in June. Are you going, too?

What I'm writing?
Book: The Meteorological Thaumaturgist
Today's total word count: 1017
Progress Notes: I'm about half way through Serpent's Scion and The Cabinet of the Dead. Still quite a ways to go on The Meteorological Thaumaturgist. Writing is not usually the problem. The problem is getting the first draft rewritten, revised, and edited to get the finished manuscript out the door.

What I'm reading?
Book: Across the East River Bridge by Kate McMurray
1K Completed: Yes!
Book Note: The MC is beginning to forgive his rival

Tonight's writing was so hard. I'd traveled for most of the day and then began writing while trying to keep my eyes open. I'm unsure how much will be usable in the story as it may be incomprehensible.

This week has been horrible for me as far as writing goes. I didn't get anything written Saturday. I had meetings in Lexington and did get home until 7:30 that evening. I crashed.
Then yesterday I had company and only got 120 words written. Bummer.But I did finish Dead Again on Friday night.

@Kerri I got the t-shirt. Thank you! I feel like it should wear it every time I am writing.

@Teresa Last week was my low writing count week. We all have those weeks but I know you will get back on track and achieve your daily word count.

@Barbara~

Oooh, the new reading book sounds good. Yay on the catch up! :-)

@Aidee~

YES! YES! YES! I'm scheduled to attend the luncheon as an author and will be doing the book signing on my YA mystery Falsify. Just came out in print this week. The e-book released in October 2012 but I've been waiting on the print version. Very excited. Would love to see you there. Come sit with me! On your writing, you just need the confidence to get it out the door. I believe in you and I cannot wait to see you achieve your dreams. Have confidence or borrow some of mine! ;-)

@Teresa~

Are you in KY? I lived in Lexington once upon a time. I spent all my money at Joseph Beth's and met about a dozen of my fave authors there at book signings. A lot of great authors in that region.

@Cynthia~

I'm so glad you got the T-shirt safely! It had to travel a long way across the U.S. If wearing it inspires you--wear on, my friend! Love your word count! Love it!

@BetsyG~

The word count is fan-freaking-tastic! Woot! Oh, and I spent most of the day doing housework in 15 minute increments yesterday. Unfortunately, didn't do as much writing as I wanted to, but now I have no excuse. Sheesh! ;-)
