I'll share whatever I know about this whole process. It's a lot of pressure and work, but I love what I do.

I took your advice to heart, even though it is 11PM and I am really tired I wrote for 15 minutes. I am not even sure I liked what I wrote but I did it.

I wrote 527 words on Breaking Away and 564 words on To Capture A Highlander's heart: The Courtship.

I've been doing research on Spanish. Found a site with Spanish slang and a site that will translate for you. I didn't realize how many Spanish phrases I knew until I started using them in my book.

Yay. I was able to write while the twins were at dress rehearsal for their dance recital. Tomorrow’s the real thing, so if I’m going to get any writing, it’ll have to be during the day. BUT work comes first. We’ll see what happens.

@Barbara~

Great progress on both books! Hope you finish one and submit soon. Then we'll be celebrating your release. :-)

@Aidee~

Writing actively is so much better and when you learn that you've been writing passively--it is like a light has suddenly switched on. Lynnette teaches a class on this--don't you, Lynnette?

@Cynthia~

PROUD of you! That's the way to do it. Pat on back coming your way.

@Teresa~

Hola and bueno suerte on the new release mi amiga!

@Lynnette~

Best of luck on the recitals. My 12 year old wants to go out for varsity cheerleading in May. They let 7th grade and up tryout. I'm a nervous wreck because she's so clumsy like me. I was the musician in the family and she already plays 2 instruments. But I have to let her try. Sigh. Great job on the writing! Hugs.

At the moment, I’m offering three classes: Unraveling the Mystery of GMCs, Editor’s First Aid: CPR for Your Dying Manuscript, and Hook, Line, and Sinker: How to Hook Readers and Reel Them In. If anyone wants to know more, check out the deets here: http://labelleseditorialservices.com/classes/

Thanks for the plug, Kerri. :)

Also, don't forget to stop by at either of my blogs to learn more about my journey to publication. I'll be adding the posts shortly.

You'll have to let me know how the cheerleading tryouts go. Good luck to her. :)
